Salary: $97,955 to $111, % Commuted Allowance + 12% Superannuation

Requirement: The successful candidate will need to be able to travel from their home or another non-work location to the Regional office or nominated ICC within 60 minutes from being notified when rostered on as the Duty Officer Outside of Ordinary Hours.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Officer - Emergency Management is an integral role within the Unit Support Team, responsible for the general guidance and support of VICSES Volunteer Units.
This role is responsible for providing high-level advice, support, training, and assistance to VICSES volunteers, local governments, other organisations and the community in the preparation, operationalisation, review and exercising of emergency management arrangements for VICSES Control Agency hazards to ensure VICSES meets its legislative requirements under the Victoria State Emergency Service Act 2005, Emergency Management Act 1986 and 2013, and the Emergency Management Legislation Amendment Act 2018 (EMLA Act).
This role will actively undertake operational command and control functions during specific local, regional and/or state-wide operations performing the Regional Duty Officer function and/or Incident Management Team (IMT) role by maintaining appropriate accreditation, ensuring the appropriate advice, support and allocation of resources for emergency readiness and response.
