We are looking for dedicated people to join our expanding School Photography Digital Services Department.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and be willing to undergo a Working with Children Check.
This position involves basic photoshopping of Group Images prior to printing. Tasks may include removing bins, backpacks, people, fences etc from backgrounds or removing line markings from the ground under the subjects’ feet. It is a fast paced position where multi-tasking and attention to detail are critical.
If you are a creative Graphic Designer who likes to spend time creating works of art, this is NOT the job for you. Our experience is that Graphic Designers do not enjoy this job, but Photoshop users who want to learn how to be more efficient at editing photos can gain valuable experience.
Skills Required:
* Basic Adobe Photoshop knowledge and skill in general PC operations are essential.
* Training will be provided.
* The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, but may not have studied design or worked in the industry previously.
* The ability to work in a fast paced production environment as you will be editing hundreds of photos per day.
The position is based at Seven Hills (working from home is not an option) and offers work on a casual basis, based around school terms. Candidates will be expected to work up to 38hrs every week (Mon-Fri only), tapering off in the fourth quarter of the year. The position then starts again Monday to Friday when school resumes at the beginning of each year.
This position is not suitable to students due to the requirement of a 38 hour week (Monday to Friday), however is ideal for a working parent as hours can be adjusted to accommodate.
Commencement date is Late February 2026.
