A well-established national organisation is currently looking for a skilled Credit & Collections Officer to join its dynamic credit operations team. The Role Reporting into the Credit Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a broad and varied customer portfolio. Your focus will be on ensuring outstanding balances are collected within agreed trading terms while effectively managing risk. You will contribute to both individual and team performance targets, while building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of customer accounts across multiple locations Carry out collection activities via phone and email to ensure prompt payment Negotiate and oversee payment arrangements in line with agreed terms Develop and maintain strong internal relationships, regularly liaising with operational teams Monitor account activity, including placing and releasing order holds as required Accurately allocate incoming payments and manage online account processing Prepare weekly and month-end reports for internal stakeholders Skills & Experience Previous experience in credit control or collections Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities Comfortable navigating multiple systems Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team How to Apply Sharp & Carter often have a range of positions available that may not yet be advertised.
