Job Description:
Sales professionals play a vital role in the success of organizations by identifying and meeting customer needs, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling solutions, services, and product offerings to the Mining industry, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for assigned product lines.
Your key responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships, preparing sales plans, creating added value for customers and ABB, ensuring successful transaction outcomes, and supporting project management teams in negotiation and contract development.
In this role, you will have access to a full suite of products and services, including state-of-the-art distributed control systems, de-carbonization mining solutions, and more. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, develop targeted marketing strategies, and drive business growth.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
* 5+ years of Systems/Services Sales experience with Automation (DCS, PLC / SCADA systems), VSD Applications, and Electrification, with an engineering background
* Experience dealing with complex large organizations (Tier 1 / Tier 2) and mining Industry experience and networking will be advantageous
* Significant sales drive focus energy to achieve and close profitable deals and strong understanding of sales processes and related tools
* Knowledge of customer-service principles and practices, including a demonstrated responsibility for and ownership of customer issues
* A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
* Proven sales experience and track record of achieving sales targets
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automation systems and technologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
