The Centre for Veterinary Education (within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science) have the role you may be looking for. Responding to queries, exploring matters and finding solutions for our members (vets and associated professionals), our Customer Support Officers have strong administrative skills, high attention to detail and project a welcoming and helpful manner in both their verbal and written interactions. As a member-based organisation providing continuing education to thousands of veterinarians and allied professions, the Centre for Veterinary Education prides itself on providing a positive customer experience. Experience in the veterinary profession would be valued.
The Centre for Veterinary Education has been a global provider of continuing education for those in the veterinary profession since 1965. It is a member-based organisation and its primary role is in the service of lifelong learning for veterinary personnel, building on DVM-education and empowering veterinary personnel at all stages of their career to improve confidence, competence, wellbeing and welfare.
As the Customer Service Officer at the CVE you will be part of a supportive and positive team responsible for providing administration support and inquiries services to customers, members, advertisers, sponsors, tutors and presenters.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* provide operational support and enquiry resolution to CVE stakeholders, particularly tutors, members, and customers
* promote the CVE portfolio at every opportunity
* provide conference and workshop support for the CVE events
* coordinate payment and invoice management for CVE tutors and suppliers
* maintain the membership database
* provide general administration support to the CVE team.

About you

* a certificate III in business administration or equivalent with relevant experience in customer support and office administration
* experience in the veterinary profession viewed favourably
* excellent verbal and written communication skills
* demonstrated capacity in provision of excellent customer service
* strong problem solving and relationship-building skills
* proven interpersonal skills with capacity to work as an integrated member of a team
* sound Office 365 skills and working knowledge of learning and engagement management systems.
