GPS Electrical Services is seeking an experienced Technical Storeperson to support our team based in Laverton North.
The role
This is a site-based stores role supporting day-to-day maintenance activities, including receiving and issuing parts, coordinating materials, maintaining stock levels and keeping the stores area organised within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
Managing spare parts
Raising and receipting POs, stock control and inventory accuracy
Using MEX CMMS to manage parts, work orders and schedules
Acting as the on-site MEX integration point
Attending regular maintenance planning meetings
Prompting the team on upcoming calibrations and scheduled maintenance
Liaising with trades, supervisors and suppliers
Receiving, checking and putting away stock and deliveries
Maintaining a tidy, organised and well-run stores area
About you
You'll be practical, organised and comfortable working in a technical environment.
Ideally you'll have:
Experience as a maintenance/engineering storeperson
Exposure to MEX or another CMMS (highly regarded)
Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical components
Strong communication and coordination skills
A proactive approach to planning and reliability support
