About the role
Step into a varied role where you'll manage essential warehouse tasks like order picking, packing, and operating forklifts - while also providing product support and assisting customers with their orders. This role is perfect for someone looking to break out of the usual "just warehouse" or "just sales" job and gain experience across both areas.
Primary Responsibilities
* Counter sales and enquiries
* Entering sales orders / answering telephone enquiries
* Providing customer quotes, order status updates, lead times etc.
* Picking and packing of orders, cutting material using an up-cut saw
* Operating forklifts for loading / unloading of trucks
* Vetting orders
* Product support to customers
About You
You will be a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a high-performance culture. To be considered applicants MUST have:
* a reliable work history with a good attitude to safety
* medium level computer literacy
* a current LF licence (preferable)
* the ability to express yourself clearly and concisely.
Applicants must also be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.
