Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- eCommerce Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with company objectives, considering market trends, competitive analysis, and customer behavior.
- Online Sales Optimization: Continuously improve and optimize our online sales channels, including our website, marketplace platforms, and social commerce, to increase conversion rates and drive revenue growth.
- Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of our eCommerce website, ensuring a seamless user experience, updating product listings, managing inventory, and resolving any technical issues.
- Customer Experience: Enhance the customer journey by identifying pain points, improving site navigation, implementing user-friendly features, and optimizing checkout processes to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze eCommerce performance metrics, sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to generate insights and make data-driven decisions to improve overall performance.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, resolve stock-related issues, and optimize inventory turnover to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of eCommerce specialists and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, operations, and customer service, to ensure effective execution of eCommerce strategies and projects.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth integration, optimize processes, and evaluate performance against agreed-upon metrics.
- Stay Abreast of Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry best practices, emerging technologies, and eCommerce trends to identify opportunities for innovation and stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience as an eCommerce Manager or in a similar role within the online retail industry.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
- Proficiency in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and data analysis to drive insights and actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay) and social commerce channels.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and fulfillment processes.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
