Strategy and Planning are seeking to establish a pool of Administration Officers for permanent and fixed‐term, full‐time and part‐time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of April, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Infrastructure Division is responsible for the planning and provision of facilities (land, buildings and equipment) across the Department, including land planning, student enrolment forecasting, facilities planning, strategic asset management, capital works programs, maintenance and minor works programs, and the delivery of facilities‐related services.
The Strategy and Planning Directorate leads longer‐term strategic planning for land and building infrastructure. It prepares capital funding proposals, delivers statistical and demographic planning, develops asset management and sustainability strategy and policy, and manages land acquisition and the Department's land estate.
The Role
* Provide high‐quality clerical and administrative support to ensure day‐to‐day operations run efficiently and effectively.
* Arrange meetings, prepare and circulate meeting agendas and minutes, and undertake follow‐up actions when required.
* Respond to telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, e‐mail and other communications.
* Maintain an effective correspondence filing system for corporate information and records relating to projects, initiatives, committees and other activities.
