About the Role
We are seeking applications from people that are wanting to work full-time afternoon shift during weekdays only. You will need to be self-driven person that is happy to use your initiative completing a variety of production and warehousing tasks.
To be successful you will enjoy working within a team environment and are committed to adding your own personal value in all that you do, through to demonstrating responsibility and ensuring safety and efficiency within all manufacturing processes.
Duties Include:
· Moving products in the warehouse and production area via forklift
· Operating the production equipment with a small team
· Ensuring the correct products and weights are available and loaded when required
· Conducting quality tests on finished product to the required standards
· Monitoring the production line process to ensure the end product is to the required standard and no equipment issues
· Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning tasks
· Accurate data recording of products used and produced
· Follow all safe work procedures and quality processes and wear PPE
What we're looking for:
* Self-driven person with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, and working with chemicals is preferred
* Understanding of warehousing, stocktaking and quality standards
* Able to use/learn ERP software and confidently use automated system equipment
* Basic administrative skills to maintain company records to appropriate standards
* Organisational and time management skills
* Communication and interpersonal skills to successfully liaise with various internal stakeholders
* Ability to follow established processes and ask questions to continually learn and assist with process improvements
* Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to solve production flow issues
* Current Forklift Licence
All applicants must undergo and pass a pre-employment medical check which includes drug & alcohol testing as part of the final recruitment stages.
