About the Role
Moyne Shire Council’s Finance and Property Department is seeking a full-time Finance / Debtors Officer to support the Finance Coordinator and Manager Finance & ICT in the management and control of financial operations and the maintenance of accounting records.
The successful applicant will also assist the finance team with the implementation of Council’s new software system.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the management and control of financial operations
* Maintain accurate accounting records
* Assist with financial reporting processes
* Contribute to the implementation of Council’s new financial software system
* Provide general support to the Finance team
Qualifications
Essential:
* Current Driver Licence
* Employee Working with Children Check
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or substantial practical experience in a financial field
Experience
Essential:
* Demonstrated understanding of computer systems and applications related to financial management and reporting
