Job Title: Mechanical Site Manager – Contract
Location: Wigan | Site Based | Contract
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee mechanical works on a commercial project. You’ll manage pipefitting and ducting teams, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
What you’ll do:
* Manage day‑to‑day mechanical installation activities on site
* Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with other trades
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and programmes
* Maintain health & safety standards and carry out quality checks
* Report progress and issues to the Project Manager
You’ll need:
* Proven Mechanical Site Management experience in M&E construction
* Strong pipefitting and ducting background
* Experience on commercial projects
* SMSTS or SSSTS certified
* CSCS card
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
