About the Role
As an IT events administrator, you will be the technical backbone behind some of Australia's most spectacular events. Based in Queensland, your primary focus will be on delivering seamless IT operations that keep thousands of fans connected to unforgettable experiences.
You will work closely with our team to ensure best-in-class on-site IT support at Ticketek events. This includes installing points of sale at venues and client sites, as well as administering and maintaining ticketing IT infrastructure and access control infrastructure at client venues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality IT support during live events
* Install and configure hardware and software solutions at various locations
* Maintain accurate records of system configuration changes
* Ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues and provide excellent customer service
* Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Specifically:
* You should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
* You must be able to identify and mitigate potential IT risks, ensuring the smooth delivery of events.
* You are expected to be proactive in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, often under pressure.
* You should have experience working in fast-paced environments and be comfortable adapting to changing circumstances.
* You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong time management and organizational abilities.
Desirable Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Cisco networking technologies
* Experience with patron access control solutions and network security protocols
Working Requirements:
* This role requires flexibility and willingness to work outside standard business hours, including weekends and evenings.
* You may be required to lift heavy equipment or spend extended periods standing during events.
* A current Full Australian driver's license is essential for this position.
