The Role
Our Home Care services empower older people to live at home independently and safely. You will provide individualised care tailored to the needs of each client and their families.
We are recruiting for a Home Care Employee offering a minimum of 10-20 hours a fortnight and will cover a variety of shifts, so you must be available and flexible within the hours of 08.00 - 16.00 ideally. We require availability on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; hours are negotiable based on our clients' requirements in and around Parkes and surrounding areas.
Your role will include:
Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating
Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
Social support & activities, including outings and social activities.
Personal care, showering, and bathing, general self-care duties
Domestic assistance, light household cleaning.
Medication assistance
Requirements
Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support, or AIN qualifications
Compassionate interpersonal skills and an empathy with older people
Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance
Willingness to travel on a regular basis using your own vehicle.
Reliable and trustworthy – our clients are dependent on you.
Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
Proven Aged Care or NDIS services background
Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working independently and remotely in customers’ homes and in the local community.
