As our company continues to grow, we are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced HD Mechanic to join our team at our workshop in the Industrial Estate of Karratha.
You will also have an opportunity to gain experience working on XCMG, Komatsu, CAT, Fuso, Hino, Isuzu, Hitachi, Liebherr and A/C systems.
In this role you will be required to:
Responsibilities
* Assist the crew to meet daily safety, equipment reliability and maintenance compliance to plan targets for projects.
* Disassemble, inspect and assemble large-scale mobile mining equipment components (in accordance with OEM maintenance system documentation & specifications).
* Source technical information from all relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins and computer systems.
* Complete mechanical diagnosis, repairs and service of equipment for breakdowns/field service.
* Component rebuilds.
* Carry out major repairs.
* Demonstrate efficient and thorough diagnosing, maintaining & repairing skills.
* Maintain a good attitude with a solid work ethic.
* Be willing to work on all types of earthmoving equipment.
* Have full Australian working rights.
* Maintain the workshop to a high standard of housekeeping and organisation.
* Work with a dedicated team to deliver a high level of workmanship.

Requirements
* Be competent in performing routine maintenance on machines
* Driver License, HR (preferred)
* Komatsu and Cat experience (desirable but not essential)
* Ability to work autonomously, in a fast-paced environment
* Be physically fit and able to pass a Medical including a Drug and Alcohol test
