About the role
Barista
Eclectic Tastes is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Barista to join our busy café team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a tight-knit crew, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based drinks, including cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites, to consistently high standards
* Providing excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all customers
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including the proper care and maintenance of all coffee equipment
* Contributing to daily operations including table service, register use, and food prep.
* Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of café operations and customer experience
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a high-volume café or restaurant environment
* Confident with grind adjustment, extraction, and machine setup
* Skilled in latte art and consistent coffee presentation
* Friendly, professional, and able to multitask under pressure
* Flexible availability across mornings and weekends
* Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of different coffee bean varieties and roast profiles
* Must have the right to work in Australia
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a commercial setting
* The ability to work confidently on the floor, including as a barista, will be highly regarded
