About the Role
A unique chance for a Chiropractor to join our allied health team in a beautiful and modern residential aged care home located in Stanwell Park, NSW. If you find joy in helping the elderly, you will have a rewarding experience working here. You will be able to contribute positively by assisting the residents to remain as active as possible and to live as pain‐free as possible with your therapy.
Hours and Days
- 2-3 days a week
- 16 hours in total per week
- Visiting days can be flexible
- Contractor
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive physical assessments and care plans
- Implementing professional physical and re‐ablement services
- Providing rehabilitation and restorative care and falls prevention program
- Prescribing mobility and functional equipment
- Participating in professional development and staff education
- Liaising with management in clinical meetings and falls committees' meetings
Skills and Experience
- Experience in aged care advantageous (new grads will be supported by our mentorship assistance)
- Sound clinical decision making
- Confident with exercise prescription
- Can work independently and in multi‐disciplinary environment
- Familiar with manual handling equipment (training is available)
- Computer literate
- Excellent documentation
- Adhere to work health and safety regulations and policies

What You Need to Have
- Likeable personality with good work ethics
- Recognized chiropractic registration with AHPRA
- Current police clearance
- Your own means of transport

To Apply
Job Types: Fixed term, Contract – Contract Length: 12 months
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour – Expected hours: 16 per week
