About the Opportunity
In this role, you will assist the management of ECH's outdoor environments, ensuring gardens, grounds and common spaces across multiple sites are maintained to a consistently high standard.
You will oversee daily grounds operations, implement maintenance schedules, asset plans, and drive continuous improvement to support long‐term quality and sustainability.
This role involves providing guidance and assistance to grounds staff, liaising with contractors to ensure reliable, high-quality service delivery for our residents.
Additionally, you will contribute to community‐focused outdoor projects, including landscaping upgrades, garden renewals and enhancements to shared spaces, helping to create safe, accessible and welcoming environments that enrich residents' wellbeing.
About You
You'll bring experience in grounds, gardens or landscaping operations, supported by strong organisational, coordination and leadership skills.
You will be confident managing competing priorities across multiple sites work effectively with contractors and handle key administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting and documentation.
You collaborate well with a range of stakeholders and take pride in creating outdoor spaces that are safe, functional and beautifully maintained, making a genuine difference to the experience of residents and visitors.
Essential Criteria
* Experience in grounds, gardens, landscaping or facilities operations
* Contractor management experience
* Leadership experience within grounds, gardens or maintenance functions
* Strong communication and coordination skills
Desirable Criteria
* Experience using maintenance management systems
* Horticulture, landscaping or grounds‐related qualifications
