About you

The Project Engineer will manage pharmaceutical Plant, Equipment, and Facility projects, ranging from small bespoke enhancements to entire manufacturing systems. You will combine practical hands-on skills with expert documentation development, collaborating with stakeholders to improve efficiency, cost, and compliance within our manufacturing site.

The Project Engineer will work collaboratively with Departmental Managers and Project Owners to deliver projects from requirements definition through validation, ensuring all projects meet site timelines, budget, safety, compliance, and quality standards.

You will possess the following:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- High proficiency in Project Management software, such as MS Project
- Desirable: 2 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools
- Strong technical knowledge of large-volume automated manufacturing processes

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Manage projects end-to-end, working with department managers and stakeholders
- Develop and document equipment and system requirements, assess solutions, and contribute to CAPEX/CPR submissions
- Design, modify, install, and commission facilities and utilities
- Develop validation and commissioning documentation for equipment, and oversee installation and qualification
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, communicating with stakeholders
- Liaise with managers, SMEs, and suppliers to ensure project scope, schedule, and cost targets are met
- Manage contractor activities and supervision
- Ensure projects comply with cGMP, validation, and Viatris standards, including change control
- Review technology options and recommend process and technology improvements
- Support equipment/system owners with technical issues
- Promote safety practices, ensure project safety standards are met, and participate in safety initiatives
