As our Key Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for key clients across VIC.
Based out of Williamstown, you will be working closely with operations, estimating, and project delivery teams, your focus will be to nurture long-term relationships, identify new opportunities, and ensure the seamless delivery of asphalt and road infrastructure services.
This role suits someone who thrives on being in the market, understands the pace of construction and takes pride in delivering outcomes for customers and for the business.
Your day will involve:
* Manage and grow key client relationships across government, local councils, and private contractors
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
* Identifying new business opportunities and converting them into volume
* Monitoring and analysing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform effective sales strategiesl>
* Prepare and present client-specific reports, proposals, and forecasting
* Represent the business at industry events and client meetings
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in Account Management or Business Development within the asphalt, surfacing, or civil construction sectors
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the VIC road infrastructure landscape
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
* Results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes
* A current driver's license (essential)
