We have two full opportunities available - a Fixed Term Contract (12 months) and a permanent ongoing position.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and joining a team of Allocators, you will be tasked with:
* Allocating subcontractors (Truck Drivers/Machine Operators) to construction projects around Melbourne;
* Maintain database daily with the accurate contractor and client information;
* Provide job details to subcontractors and all the necessary information according to the agreed Company Process;
* Answer all telephone enquiries in a professional and timely manner displaying a friendly, enthusiastic and professional approach at all times;
* Continually striving to improve customer service, at all times; and
* Proactively work to ensure the increasing growth in plant machine volumes allocator.

However, you must have:
* Not essential but highly preferred, experience as a fleet controller, fleet coordinator, allocator, transport coordinator or similar;
* Not essential but highly preferred, knowledge on earth moving machinery, with regards to applications, limitations and operations;
* Not essential but highly preferred, experience in a call centre and/or customer service experience or similar;
* Intermediate computer literacy skills;
* Exceptional attention to detail;
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate both professionally and casually;
* A strong level of commitment to your team and your role; and
* Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic in a diverse, fast-moving, and ever-changing environment.
