About the role
The Nurse and Midwifery Support Service (NMS) is a national telephone and online service that provides a 24/7 anonymous telephone health and wellbeing information, support and referral service for nurses and midwives, incorporating actual time and call back responses. The service also incorporates support and referral intake functionality via email. The NMS actively provides industry specific support to ensure excellent service delivery and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to consider clinical quality and risk, service performance and care standards within the area of expertise.
The role's primary purpose is the coordination of deliverables contracted by Aphra for the nurse and midwife support service (NMS) as well as Dental Practitioner Support Service (DPS) delivering a range of initiatives including Nurse Notification Navigator Program, Wellbeing portal and graduate mentoring program. The role includes also evaluation of these initiatives. Key activities include the co-ordination and delivery of key administrative responsibilities such as the preparation of internal reports and external reports to funding bodies including Aphra, supporting the Manager with ongoing projects, monitoring projects and additional project administration support as required.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
* Coordination of projects
* Building and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders
* Maintain and update records in line with compliance
* Project coordination and support coordinating projects and supporting others to lead them
* Health, ICT, Communications or similar
* Successful coordination of projects in relation to objectives, timelines and budgets
* Prepare and maintain thorough project documentation, and collate information for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to contribute to achievement of project outcomes
* Consulting subject matter experts- listening, learning and documenting guidance
* Ongoing process improvement
* Active support to the Manager and Business Support
* Reporting and administration tasks, including tracking, record keeping and management of meetings which will involve writing and disseminating minutes and actions
* Prepare a draft monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal stakeholders and funders
* Develop, monitor and review data collection and reporting tools
* Develop and update program/project literature, newsletters, guides and other resource material.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
