About the Role
As our Reservations Manager, you'll be at the heart of hotel operations—managing a centralised team and ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all reservations. You'll work closely with our Commercial and Revenue teams to optimise occupancy and rates, drive call conversions, and ensure an exceptional level of service for every guest.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the guest journey from the first interaction while contributing directly to the commercial success of both properties.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Reservations Department for both hotels.
- Maximise room occupancy and average daily rate in collaboration with the Revenue team.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all individual and group reservations using systems including PM Pro and Concerto.
- Drive guest satisfaction by delivering outstanding service, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high standards of communication and professionalism.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing reservations team; manage rosters, leave, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, operational SOPs, and safety and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with hotel management, front office, and sales teams to streamline processes and enhance guest experiences.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics to improve conversion rates and support strategic business planning.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for a passionate hospitality professional with:
- Proven experience in a reservations leadership role within a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems (PM Pro, Concerto preferred) and a commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A guest-first attitude and an ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Knowledge of IHG systems and Loyalty Programs is highly desirable.
