Position Overview:
* We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and IT assistance to end users. This role requires someone with strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach.
Job Description:
* This is Freelance work (like Self-Employed / Field Nation / Upwork): Means you will work for your own, and you will get paid only for the activities you will perform. For example, if our customer wants to install one router in their office, our team assigns that activity to you. You will need to visit the customer site and complete the task. After completing the task, you will share an invoice with our team.
Scope of work: IT Support Engineer
* Designing and installing well-functioning computer networks, connections, and cabling.
* Performing troubleshooting to system failures and identifying bottlenecks to ensure long-term efficiency of the network.
* Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network, and server management.
* Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections.
* Extend computer support for systems’ software and hardware.
* Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems, troubleshooting and router installation.
* Network and connect computers within the organization to improve communication.
Freelance work Process (step by step):
* Whenever our customer needs help related to Desktop / Network Support L1 and L2 in your area, our Help Desk Team will contact you over email or by phone call / WhatsApp.
* Our representative (Help Desk Agent) will brief you about the problem at the customer site.
* You can accept or decline the ticket based on your availability. If you decline, we will get back to you with another ticket in the future.
* If you accept, you will need to visit the customer site with a few tools like a laptop with Windows 10, some cables, a USB drive, and a strong internet connection.
* Tool requirements depend on the problem/ticket.
After completing the activity, you will fill out one activity report, get it approved by the customer, and share it along with the invoice with our team.

3. Windows Update, Config, and upgrade
4. Smart hand support
5. Router / Switch IP Config
Candidate should either be a citizen of Australia or must have a valid work Visa through which no Sponsorship is required.
