What You Will Be Doing
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tenders, and quotations for made to order products and projects. Working closely with sales, production, sourcing, and logistics teams, you will ensure estimates are commercially competitive, technically accurate, and aligned with operational capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing detailed project costings and tenders using first principles.
* Coordinating costing activities with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and product availability.
* Maintaining and improving estimating systems and processes.
* Building strong working relationships across sales, customer service, and production teams.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and providing market intelligence to stakeholders.
* Ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and environmental requirements.
What You Will Need
* Qualifications in, or a sound understanding of, civil engineering principles.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in QS and estimating or a similar role.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong communication, project management, and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
