Our organization is seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to lead the planning and execution of assigned work packages on site.
About this role
* The ideal candidate will have experience in the planning and execution of renewable construction projects, heavy lift operations, and contractor management.
* A key responsibility will be to manage contract deliverables, reviewing contractor mechanical project documents and management plans.
* The successful candidate will also be required to respond to technical queries promptly and provide practical mechanical solutions.
* An additional responsibility will be to investigate and resolve mechanical engineering issues, recommending best practice solutions.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering with a strong focus on problem-solving and critical thinking.
* Prior experience in mechanical engineering/project delivery in site-based roles, with a proven track record of success.
* Previous experience in heavy lifting/erection and installation, with knowledge of relevant safety protocols.
* Strong construction experience within the renewables sector, with a deep understanding of industry trends and developments.
* Minimum full working rights required for this position, with a valid visa or citizenship.
