Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Road Surfacing Coordinator/Scheduler to help manage and oversee our surfacing project allocation from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in project support, project administration, allocation and/or scheduling within the construction industry, with a focus on road surfacing. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ordering product and Workshop needs for road surfacing projects, ensuring timely completion
* Collaborate with Co- Ordinator for each Project
* Monitor project programs and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure all people, equipment and products are allocated to the project
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate project programs
* Order Material for each project.
Experience Required
* Proven experience in project support, allocation or scheduling, preferably in road construction or surfacing.
* Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular excel
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
