About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join the maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical breakdown support, preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment reliability across the production facility. Key Responsibilities: Respond to mechanical breakdowns and perform fault-finding to minimise downtime Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment Maintain and repair pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics Support line changeovers and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure all work is completed in line with GMP, food safety, and site safety standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Work closely with production and electrical teams to maximise plant uptime Skills & Experience: Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent) Experience in food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environments Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics Understanding of GMP, food safety, and WHS requirements Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift What's on Offer: Permanent Day Shift - 6:00am - 2:00pm Competitive pay: $50ph Penalties Overtime Super Regular overtime available Modern, clean manufacturing facility Stable, long-term employment with training and development opportunities
