ACH Group is hiring a part-time Catering Assistant & Cleaner (Dual Role) at our Residential Care Home, Perry Park in Port Noarlunga. Casual shifts available.
What you'll do
Reporting to the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will work autonomously to prepare and distribute meals and help with a variety of domestic tasks for the Residential Care Home.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to support the wellbeing of customers
- Meal preparation, regeneration and distribution
- Deliver expert customer service
- Maintain documentation such as HACCP paperwork
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Support the site with other general kitchen duties and much more
- Conduct a variety of domestic tasks
- Use a variety of cleaning products in a safe manner
- Assist the customers to live a good life
You will need
- Meal preparation/food handling experience
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A passion for supporting choice and independence
- A Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
- High level customer service experiences
- Share the ACH Group culture and values
- Availability for various shifts across weekdays and weekends. Shifts will be 7:30am - 1:00pm or 2:30pm - 6:30pm for Catering Assistant and 7:00am - 2:00pm for Cleaner
It would be helpful if you had
- A food handling certificate
- An understanding of the dietary requirements of older people
- Experience in a similar role
