Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement and reduction in manual effort by automating deployments and configuration updates.
- Execute application and/or platform changes, releases, and service requests in supported environments.
- Root cause analysis and service improvement solutions.
- Collaborate with appropriate teams for development of corrective actions or viable workarounds to resolve major incidents.
- Adhere to ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods, and procedures.
Your Profile
- Experience provisioning and managing UNIX/Linux operating systems, and Virtualization Technologies such as:
- Red Hat Linux
- CentOS
- Debian
- Ubuntu
- Solaris
- Oracle Linux
- KVM
- VMware
- Experience with automation and system management tools and platforms such as:
- Ansible, Puppet & Terraform
- Strong shell scripting experience in languages such as:
- Bourne
- Korn
- Perl
- Bash
- Python
- Experience with Linux/Unix OS hardening and security tools.
- Experience working with application servers (WebLogic and JBoss), for installing, patching, configuring, troubleshooting, and tuning.
- Experience with AD Integration and LDAP Integration for authentication on Unix Servers.
- Experience in Unix Patching using tools like spacewalk or satellite.
- Experience in disk management tools for Solaris and Linux.
- Knowledge of CIS Benchmark for Unix Systems.
