We are seeking an experienced QHSE Specialist to join our team for a FIFO position in Karratha.
The project requires the demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, the construction of a new land-backed wharf and land redevelopment.
* Implementing a culture of zero harm health, safety, and environment framework through company standards, systems, and processes.
* Presentation of environmental strategies and plans, results, and incident reviews to management teams.
* Delivery of environmental results from a project-wide audit program and provide reports and reviews on incident and HSE performance across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure behaviors required, training, and engagement in, and ongoing coaching and accountability support for leaders in achieving the zero-harm culture.
* Advice and support for management and staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
* Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
* Development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Proven experience (7+ years) as a QHSE Manager in construction or related industries.
* Degree or Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, risk assessment, and environmental management.
