Lifeguard Position
We are seeking reliable lifeguards to join our aquatic centre team. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons and providing leadership and coaching to our staff.
The Role:
Our lifeguards will work on a casual basis with ongoing opportunities. You will be required to work mornings, evenings and weekends, including public holidays and peak operating seasons. In return, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the community and be part of a dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team and provide leadership and coaching
* Evaluate day-to-day pool operations within our facility to ensure they are safe and enjoyable for all patrons
* Communicate effectively with students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs
* Work independently and as part of a strong team
Requirements:
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Understanding of occupational health and safety and public safety applications
* Current first aid (Level 2) and CPR certificate
* National police check
* Current pool lifeguard certificate
* Working with vulnerable people
