In this exciting role, you will partner with clinicians to promote patient safety and data integrity through continuous improvement of clinical documentation. Your advice and guidance will be invaluable in optimising activity-based funding at both the point of care and post-discharge.
You will have a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification (mandatory), and experience in clinical coding and ABF is highly desirable. As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, your ability to travel via small planes or ferry to other facilities for clinical activities or meetings will be essential.
