About The Role
As a Senior Veterinarian at Animal Emergency Service Hobart, you'll play a key leadership role in our emergency team—guiding clinical decision‐making, mentoring colleagues, and shaping the development of our service as we continue to grow. You'll work alongside experienced ECC vets, specialists and a team of highly skilled nurses, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care and team support. You'll also have access to advanced training, structured leadership development and a strong support network from our national group.
About You
You're a confident and collaborative vet who loves both leading and learning. You bring sound clinical judgment, compassion and the ability to bring out the best in others.
You'll Also Have
* BVSc (or equivalent) and registration to practice in Australia
* Strong emergency and critical care skills
* A passion for mentoring, coaching and team development
* MANZCVS (ECC or similar) highly desirable but not essential
* A calm, flexible approach and strong communication skills
* A drive for continual learning, and a sense of humour when it counts
