WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently recruiting qualified Boeing CH47 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to join our team. The selected candidates will perform maintenance and engineering activities supporting aerial emergency response services. The role emphasizes safety and customer service, requiring flexibility and the ability to work away from home base at short notice. We offer a competitive salary and a focus on work/life balance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform daily, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on customer-owned aircraft, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
* Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring aircraft safety and airworthiness.
* Supervise unlicensed engineers, apprentices, and contractors as required.
* Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance documentation.
* Support emergency service aircraft operations to ensure effective response to missions.
Experience Requirements:
* Diploma in Aeroskills or equivalent educational qualification.
* Ability to obtain RAAF Base Access.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Australia as an AME.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
* AME B1.3 Licence (preferably with no exclusions).
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Licence.
* Field maintenance experience.
