The Manager - Asset & Maintenance Services position is a crucial role within the Supply Chain branch. The individual in this role reports to the Director, Group Linen Services and is responsible for managing all plant, equipment and maintenance workforce within Linen Services production facilities.
About the Supply Chain Surety Branch
Supply Chain is a branch within Corporate Services Division (CSD) that supports the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health. This branch encompasses functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Linen Services and Operations. It brings together an end-to-end supply chain management function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director.
What we are looking for
* Proven experience in management/leadership of maintenance workforce
* Experience in financial management and reporting
* High level communication and interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of asset management, maintenance management or facilities management qualifications would be advantageous
* Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge, of Statutory Acts, Regulations and Australian Standards applicable to Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services as applied to Queensland Health
