Care Leadership Opportunity
At our organization, we're seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Care Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care is provided to residents at all times.
* This involves providing leadership and coaching to clinical and support teams to ensure delivery of quality resident outcomes.
* You will also be working closely with policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for residents.
About the Role:
* You'll provide clinical leadership and support to clinical and personal care teams, promoting a culture of excellence in resident care.
* Additionally, you'll work as second-in-charge to the Residential Manager, overseeing daily operations and making decisions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, adhering to Aged Care quality Standards and organizational policies.
2. Provide leadership and coaching to clinical and support teams to achieve quality resident outcomes.
3. Work in a safe manner, following policies and procedures, including IPC, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4. Support the Residential Manager in daily operations, making decisions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* A thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Previous experience working within a residential aged care setting in a similar role.
* Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others.
* Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
