The Opportunity
You'll step into a technical leadership role within a fast-paced Cyber Response function, working with cutting-edge security technologies and collaborating across security operations, engineering, and risk.
This is more than just responding to incidents — you'll influence strategy, uplift capability, and help mature detection and response across a large enterprise landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead response to cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and major incidents
Act as technical lead during high-severity incidents and escalations
Provide day-to-day operational leadership and mentoring to Cyber Security Analysts
Drive uplift across detection, mitigation, and response capability
Lead threat hunting and forensic investigations
Contribute to purple teaming activities and adversary simulation
Translate complex cyber risks into clear business impact for stakeholders
Foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team
What You Bring
Strong hands-on experience in incident response, threat hunting, and digital forensics
Proven ability to lead during high-pressure cyber incidents
Deep understanding of enterprise security operations and detection strategies
Experience across cloud security environments (Azure, AWS, GCP or similar)
Strong communication skills — able to articulate technical risk in business terms
Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science or similar
Industry certifications such as GCFA, GCIH, GREM, GCSA, CISSP (highly regarded)
