Chef Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chef Supervisor to lead our Catering Department and oversee the preparation of high-quality meals for our residents. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and people management skills, as well as proficiency in food safety and compliance standards.
About the Role
This role involves daily management of the catering department, ensuring that food service staff are supported and guided towards delivering excellent meal services. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing and evaluating the Food Safety Program, ensuring all operations meet formal accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* Experience in Residential Aged Care
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Proficient computer literacy
* Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification
* Completion of a Food Handling Course
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Background in the hospitality industry
* Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements
