About the Role
Based in our beautiful wholesale social enterprise nursery in Mt Evelyn, the Social Enterprise Administration Officer provides essential administrative and communication support to Knoxbrooke's Social Enterprise function, helping to ensure efficient, well-coordinated operations and a consistent experience across the organisation.
This role requires a highly collaborative approach, working closely with staff across the Nursery and community-based Social Enterprises in West Gippsland, as well as the broader Knoxbrooke team.
This is a part-time position working on-site in Mt Evelyn from pm Monday to Friday. Some travel to Warragul will be required within this role as this position also supports our West Gippsland social enterprises (anticipated to be less than one day a month).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support to the Social Enterprise team
* Assist with preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and minutes
* Support ordering and provision of supplies and stationery (within budget) across social enterprises
* Act as a key contact for site-related issues at the primary work location (Mt Evelyn)
* Liaise with Health and Safety Representatives to monitor First Aid Kits and arrange supplies
* Manage ordering and distribution of Knoxbrooke branded apparel
* Assist with facilities coordination, including cleaning contractors and service providers
* Support internal communications in conjunction with the Strategic Partnerships & Engagement Manager
* Assist with coordination of work trials, work experience placements and external visitor programs in partnership with the PQ+C team
* Assist with organising internal events, celebrations and special activities across social enterprises
* Work collaboratively to support a consistent experience across various work sites for supported employees, clients and staff
* Ensure compliance with Knoxbrooke policies, procedures and the NDIS Code of Conduct
About You
* You have a minimum 5 years' experience in a similar administrative role, and/or strong transferable skills
* First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain prior to starting work)
* Drivers licence and own transport
* Experience in the disability services or not-for-profit sector (desirable)
* Strong attention to detail with a methodical, organised approach
* High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
* Warm, person-directed approach with strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively across diverse and multi-skilled teams
* Excellent time management, reliability and professional presentation
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
