About the Role
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to design and build signal processing algorithms that will enable millions of users around the world to experience Dolby technologies. The products you create will be used by many of Dolby's key partners such as LG, Amazon and Lenovo to enable the Dolbyexperience in their product lines. You will be surrounded by industry experts who can help guide your efforts and develop your skills.
What You'll Do
Develop real-time solutions to signal processing challenges using Python, MATLAB, and C/C++
Build prototypes and conduct experiments to design innovative solutions for signal processing problems
Write and test real-time signal processing software in C/C++
Create tools for demonstration, testing, and validation of algorithms
Perform critical listening tests to evaluate solutions
Learn and develop your skills under the mentorship of senior team members
Who You Are
We are looking for candidates who thrive in team environments and are passionate about developing signal processing solutions under technical and schedule constraints, following best practices in software design and processes.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Programming experience in C/C++
Experience using Python or MATLAB for scripting and scientific computing
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both general and technology-specific applications
Curiosity and enthusiasm for building recent things and exploring how they work
Creative approach to complex problem-solving and a commitment to seeing solutions through to completion
Interest in audio and multimedia technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with acoustics, digital signal processing, or machine learning
Embedded software development experience
