About the job
This is a ground-floor, career-defining opportunity for an ambitious Sales Consultant to join a newly launched, yet highly experienced, heavy equipment dealership in Central Queensland. Backed by a strong existing group and local expertise, you'll be the key driver in establishing and growing the agricultural machinery sales division. This role is based out of the Rockhampton area and covers a large regional territory.
We're looking for a proactive and driven individual ready to embrace the challenge of building a client base from the ground up, with a clear pathway to future Sales Management. Role Responsibilities
- Establish and grow the agricultural machinery sales division.
- Actively pursue and close sales from generated leads.
- Develop new clients and grow the business across the Central QLD territory.
- Support the team with light construction equipment sales.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Agricultural Sales background or similar related experience.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and ability to manage the full sales cycle.
- Highly proactive and capable of working autonomously.
- Knowledge of the heavy equipment, farm machinery, or related industrial sector.
Previous exposure to Agricultural and Farming Machinery in a retail or wholesale setting would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Claas, Kubota, Deutz or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
The estimated On-Target Earnings (OTE) package is in the range of $120,000 to $150,000+ per annum (plus superannuation), with a competitive base salary and strong commission potential, including an attractive initial commission guarantee.
