About the role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team at Linea Cabinets Pty Ltd in Corbould Park, Queensland.
This 3-6 month contract position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to our payroll operations.
What you'll be doing
1. Accurately processing payroll for all employees on a fortnightly basis
2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations
3. Calculating and processing payments, deductions, and tax obligations
4. Preparing and submitting relevant payroll reports and documentation
5. Providing support and assistance to employees regarding payroll-related queries
6. Maintaining and updating employee records and information
7. Assisting with the implementation of new payroll systems and processes
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll officer or similar role
2. Strong knowledge of payroll processing and compliance with relevant legislation
3. Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
4. Proficient in using payroll software and technology
5. Experience with MYOB payroll software is required
6. Exceptional communication and customer service skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Australian work authorisation is required for this position
