Respect St John's in Wangaratta VIC, are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator to join our leadership team and play a key role in strengthening clinical governance, quality improvement, and compliance outcomes within our residential aged care service. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Registered Nurse who is passionate about clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and supporting teams to deliver safe, person-centered care.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Care Manager and multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator is a supernumerary clinical leadership role focused on enhancing resident outcomes through strong clinical oversight, audit readiness, quality systems, and staff capability development.
You will play a critical role in ensuring care delivery aligns with best practice standards, Aged Care Quality Standards, and organisational policies and procedures. This is a full time position working Monday - Friday.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Bachelor of Nursing
* Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
* Demonstrated experience in residential aged care
* Advanced clinical knowledge and assessment skills
* Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
* Experience in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement
* High-level documentation and clinical review skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient computer and information management skills, including ability to use Microsoft and clinical software systems.
