With a reputation built on quality workmanship, safety, and reliability, and are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Pakenham workshop operations.
We are looking for a hands-on Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily workshop activities, coordinate trades, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This role will suit a motivated leader with a strong fabrication or welding background who enjoys mentoring teams and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate workshop trades and apprenticesPlan and schedule fabrication and mechanical worksEnsure work is completed safely, on time, and to specificationMaintain quality standards and oversee inspections where requiredCoordinate materials, equipment, and resources for workshop jobsPromote and maintain strong safety culture and complianceLiaise with project managers, engineers, and site teamsSupport continuous improvement and workshop efficiency
About You
Trade qualification in Fabrication, Boilermaking, or similarPrevious experience in a workshop supervisory or leading hand roleStrong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and workshop processesAbility to read and interpret drawings and specificationsStrong leadership and communication skillsCommitment to safety and quality workmanshipOrganised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
