Job Description
The Role
We are looking for skilled Loader Operators to join a cotton ginning operation in Emerald, QLD. This is a hands-on seasonal role in a fast-paced and supportive environment where teamwork and safety are key. With strong demand during the cotton harvest, this is a great opportunity to build your skills and return for future seasons.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operating loaders to move cotton and related materials
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of gin equipment as required
Following strict safety standards at all times
Supporting site operations with general duties as needed
Working as part of a team to achieve production targets

$***** per hour with penalty rates
Approx. 3 months of seasonal employment
Approx. 40 hours per week, with opportunities for extra hours

Your Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy seasonal environment. You'll bring :
A current Forklift Licence
Previous experience in the cotton harvest
2 or more seasons of experience as a machine operator in the cotton industry (or equivalent)
OR experience as an assistant / trainee ginner with willingness to learn and assist with maintenance
Strong teamwork and adaptability across varied site tasks
