Role Overview
We are seeking a Graduate Project Controls Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in supporting cost estimating, analysis, and control activities as well as schedule development, maintenance, reporting, and monitoring activities.
Responsibilities
1. Identify scope associated with schedule activities and gather relevant information to define general work requirements for performing organizations and units.
2. Prepare broad activity logic and required interfaces between activities on schedules.
3. Develop durations for schedule activities within disciplines or specialties.
4. Gather and organize quantity and workforce information for assigned disciplines or specialties.
5. Support routine quantity/workforce loading in support of discipline or specialty work logic.
Requirements
* Graduated within the last 12 months with a Bachelor of Process, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
* Prior internship experience in relevant construction fields.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel &/or Power BI tools.
* Basic understanding of technical processes, interpretation of engineering drawings, and project management practices associated with engineering and construction projects.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated teamwork skills.
