Engagement Coordinator

We are looking for someone to join our team to coordinate our government engagement and relationship management.

Fifty Acres isn't a traditional agency – we're a virtual agency, operating remotely for 15 years with hubs in NSW, Canberra, Victoria, WA and Singapore. We're proud to offer the flexibility to work remote from home, or from a coworking space. We take pride in working on projects that we care passionately about, and you'll get opportunities to work on everything.

Qualifications and Experience

* Qualifications or working towards qualifications in politics, public policy, international relations or other relevant areas.
* Experience in public policy, policy writing, and campaigns or a very strong understanding of politics and current affairs.
* Previous experience in a state or federal MPs office as an electorate officer or junior adviser.
* Experience in project and/or client management.
* A willingness to travel interstate if required and to work outside of standard hours.

Desirable but not essential

* Experience in managing social media accounts
* Sound knowledge of Figma as well as government and media monitoring services
* A strong network or the ability to develop government contacts at federal and state level
* Great attention to detail

Role Responsibilities

* Supporting small and large accounts and project teams to ensure deliverables are met on time and budget.
* Calling the office of a member of parliament to arrange a meeting for clients.
* Client event management.
* Client onboarding and project management.
* Liaising with our clients to facilitate meeting requests.
* Manage administration support, including preparing reports, presentations and data entry.
* Travel management for team.
* Setting up Zoom/Teams calls for our team and clients.
* Assisting with the development of government engagement strategies.
* Supporting relationships with clients and political stakeholders.
* Keeping up with political and current affairs and the daily news cycle to assist clients.
* Supporting new business research and development.
