The Configuration Management Officer, ensures that program Configuration & Data Management System satisfies Raytheon Australia corporate, Defence, and program specific CM/DM requirements and practices. This is facilitated through compliance to the program CM/DM plan, processes, procedures, tools and enablers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and maintain the Configuration Management Plan for the project.
- Identify the project's configuration items (CI) and parts and define the systems and/or parent equipment's design architecture in the Configuration Status Accounting System (CSAS).
- Identify the document sets that define each CI and baseline and record these in the CSAS.
- Verify design document releases and changes for completeness, proper authorisation, and classification.
- Update change and document records in the CSAS to reflect Change Board decisions.
**Skills Experience and Qualifications**
- Ability to provide CM/DM guidance and assistance to less experienced professionals and/or support employees.
- Cert IV in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- A minimum of four (4) years' experience in the electronics or Defence industry in either:
- System (hardware or software) design, manufacture, maintenance or testing; or
- Configuration Management/ Data Management.
