Our client, a well-established restaurant in Adelaide, is seeking a talented part-time (around 20 hours per week) Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a passionate team, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, vibrant dining environment. This part-time role involves supervising the bar and front-of-house service, leading the team during service shifts, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks And Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise front-of-house and bar staff during service shifts
* Allocate tasks and monitor team performance for smooth operations
* Ensure compliance with service standards, safety protocols, and RSA requirements
* Greet and engage with customers, manage bookings, and handle inquiries or complaints
* Oversee bar operations, including preparation and service of drinks
* Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to new and junior staff
* Manage cash registers, EFTPOS systems, and complete shift reconciliations
* Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance in line with HACCP standards
Skills And Experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment.
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a service setting.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
* Well-groomed, punctual, and profession.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Able to work evenings and weekends as per roster requirements.
* Experience in a family-friendly or casual dining environment.
* Familiarity with POS systems and staff rostering software (desirable).
Qualification Requirements
* RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification (SA recognised)
* Food Safety Certificate (e.g., SITXFSA005)
* Understanding or interest in Indian cuisine and culture (desirable)
